“Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero.” Series begins August 25 at 8PM.

From KPI, executive producer Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks Television, Discovery Channel and Science Channel comes the story of hope from darkness, life from ashes, a dream born from a nightmare. Nearly two years ago, KPI began to document the massive effort is currently under way to reshape ground zero into an expansive 16-acre complex the likes of which has never been seen before. To document this historic effort, Discovery Channel asked KPI to go on the ground alongside the men and women who are making this vision a reality until the nationally televised unveiling of the new Ground Zero with President Barack Obama on Sept. 11, 2011. “Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero” begins on August 25th.
